Post-Processing Foley for Beyond Skyrim’s Sea of Ghosts new land mods

Stereo centering:

Hours of raw foley sounds needed re-centering in post due to an off-axis microphone position, leaving the foley with imbalanced stereo due to gain mismatch. Restored in iZotope RX 9 with Azimuth module.

Post Audio Spectral Repair:

Use the sliders above and below to see post audio clean-up results in iZotope RX. Bird sounds were removed manually. Noise from wind, appliances, planes, & cars cleaned with RX modules.

Post-processing and sound design asset delivery for Beyond Skyrim: Harrowfang Mire.


Wooden boards and creaking doors. Eerie scratching and creatures groaning. These sound assets are implemented via Creation Engine in ambitious Skyrim mods to put the player on edge in the dungeons of this harsh, wind-battered island of icy caves within the Sea of Ghosts chain of islands north of Skyrim.
